At TemporaryTattoos.com, we want to make sure you get the best results from your custom designed INKFINITY™ semi-permanent tattoo. To best replicate your custom design we have a few necessary guidelines you’ll want to consider before submitting your artwork.
First, the INKFINITY™ process cannot accept grayscale or photographic images. The imprint process is pure black. Next, lines in your design should not be too thin. We recommend at least 3/32”, or 3 pts thick. Finally, any negative space – small white areas surrounded by black elements of your design - should be a minimum of 1/6”, or 5 pts thick.
- Image must be black line art only
- No thin lines, They won't show up when developed
- Don't Crowd things, Your image needs negative space to develop properly
- Grays and Shading will not develop. They will come out black or not at all.
- Photographs cannot be used in raw form.

WHAT IS THE IMPRINT AND TRIM SIZE ON A SEMI-PERM CUSTOM TATTOO?
A 1/8” trim size margin between the printed image and the edge of the paper, on all four sides, is required for all custom temporary tattoos up to a 3” x 3" paper size. Thus, your custom temporary tattoo itself will be ¼” smaller than the paper size selected. As an example, a 2” x 2” custom tattoo will have an imprint size of 1.75” x 1.75”. For custom tattoos on paper sizes larger than 3" x 3", a 3/8” trim size margin is required between the printed image and the edge of the paper, on all four sides.
When producing a temporary tattoo, only your design will be printed with the artwork you provided, fitting it specifically to the tattoo paper size ordered, less trim size margins. Your design is the only thing printed, not the entire size of the tattoo sheet. This elimiates any need to die cut the paper to the size of your tattoo.

LOVE SEMI-PERMANENT TATTOOS
I loved INKFINITY! As someone who cannot decide on getting a permanent tattoo, I loved the idea of a semi-permanent tattoo.
